Terms of ServiceLast updated: March 20261. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Riggo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including contractors, independent service providers ("Helpers"), and administrators.2. Nature of the Service
Riggo is a technology platform that connects contractors seeking labor assistance with independent service providers. Riggo does not employ Helpers. All Helpers using this platform are independent contractors, not employees of Riggo or of any contractor using the platform. Riggo does not control the manner or means by which Helpers perform their services.3. Independent Contractor Status
Helpers acknowledge and agree that:
(a) they are self-employed independent contractors;
(b) they are responsible for their own taxes, including self-employment taxes;
(c) Riggo will not withhold income taxes, Social Security, or Medicare from payments;
(d) Riggo will issue 1099-NEC forms to Helpers who earn $600 or more in a calendar year;
(e) they are not entitled to employee benefits of any kind.4. Payments and Fees
Contractors are charged based on actual time worked at the agreed hourly rate plus any applicable overtime charges. Payment is authorized at the time of task posting and captured upon completion confirmation. Helpers are paid for actual time worked, including per-second overtime when applicable. Riggo retains a platform fee from each transaction. All payments are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s terms of service.5. Overtime Policy
Tasks that extend beyond the estimated hours are billed at an overtime rate of $1.13 per minute per Helper to contractors. Helpers earn $0.69 per minute of overtime. Overtime is calculated using per-second proration for accuracy.6. Cancellations and Refunds
Contractors may cancel a task prior to a Helper arriving on site. Once a Helper has arrived and work has begun, cancellation is subject to review. Refunds for tasks not yet started will be processed to the original payment method. Tasks that have been started are billed for actual time worked. Disputed charges may be reviewed through our support channel.7. User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- misrepresent their identity or qualifications
- engage in fraudulent activity
- harass or threaten other users
- circumvent the platform to hire Helpers directly
- use the platform for any illegal purposeViolations may result in immediate account suspension.8. Limitation of Liability
Riggo is not liable for damages arising from the actions of Helpers or contractors on the platform, including property damage, personal injury, or financial loss. Riggo’s liability is limited to the platform fees collected in connection with a disputed transaction.9. Modifications
Riggo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We may notify users of material changes through the platform.10. Contact
